9 And David says:
Let their feasting[a] become a snare and a trap,
a pitfall and a retribution to them.
10 Let their eyes be darkened so they cannot see,
and their backs be bent continually.(A)[b]
Israel’s Rejection Not Final
11 I ask, then, have they stumbled in order to fall? Absolutely not! On the contrary, by their stumbling,[c] salvation has come to the Gentiles(B) to make Israel jealous.
